Please read the following Terms and Conditions which apply to your use of this website. By using this site and/or placing an order with us you are agreeing to abide by the Terms and Conditions outlined below.

This site is operated and owned by Toner Expert. All material on this website, including graphics, design, text, content (and its presentation) and all other information are the copyright of Toner Expert or its licensees, content providers or technology providers. All rights are reserved.

This site is provided for the purposes of browsing, shopping and placing orders with Toner Expert and no part of it may be copied, printed or distributed without permission.

Toner Expert reserves the right to cancel orders if we do not have sufficient stock to fulfil your order or if incorrect details or prices have been inadvertently entered on our website. We also reserve the right to make changes to this site and our terms and conditions at any time.

Save in respect of your statutory rights or under our guarantee, we shall not be liable to you by reason of any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the terms of our contract with you, for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage including loss of profit, costs, expenses or other claims for damages whatsoever (whether or not caused by our negligence) which arise out of or in connection with the performance or otherwise of the goods supplied or their use by you or by any other party.

Placing an Order

We can only accept orders from and for delivery within the United Kingdom. We are looking into the possibility of accepting orders throughout Europe so if you are interested please email us at sales@tonerexpert.co.uk and we will keep you informed of developments.

Placing an on-line order with Toner Expert could not be easier, simply enter the quantity of the product you require, click "Buy Now" and follow the link to the checkout or continue shopping.

If you wish to change or amend your order, simply click on "View Basket" and make the necessary alterations. Once you have completed your selection, click on "checkout now" and fill in your delivery and payment details.

Please make sure that you enter the complete shipping address which should include the house or unit name and/or number, the street name, the town and/or city and the FULL postcode. We will not refund or replace lost goods if you did not supply us with a complete delivery address.

Remittance Terms

We accept all major credit and debit cards without charging any surcharges. Payment will be made at the time of ordering and your card will be debited once your order has been confirmed. A confirmation email will be sent to you when your order has been received but this does not necessarily confirm the availability of stock. If the item you have ordered is not in stock, we will back order it for you. If goods cannot be shipped to you within a reasonable time scale you will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order (and receive a full refund) or for it to be part-shipped.

Delivery

All orders placed before 15:00 (3.00pm) Monday to Friday will normally be despatched during the same working day. Orders received at the weekend or Bank Holidays will normally be despatched on the next working day.

  • Orders over £100 (excluding VAT) will be delivered free of charge by courier.
  • Orders of more than £50 (excluding VAT) but less than £100 (excluding VAT) will be delivered by courier and you will be charged for delivery.
  • For orders less than £50 (excluding VAT) you will be able to choose the method of delivery and you will be charged accordingly.

Lost Post

90% of first class post is delivered next day. However, once despatched by us, the order is in the hands of the Royal Mail and we have no control over how quickly it will be delivered. They will not class an item as being ‘lost’ until 15 working days after it was posted. In the unlikely event that your order has not arrived on the expected day, then please follow the advice given below.

  1. If it is less than 5 working days since your order should have arrived please be patient as it may have been held up by an incomplete address, no postcode or some other unforeseen circumstance.
  2. If it is 5 to 10 working days since your order should have arrived then please check with your neighbours to see if a parcel has been left with them, check any outbuildings where mail may have been left if it did not fit through the letterbox and contact your local sorting office to see if it has been returned to the depot and is awaiting collection. At this time you can report the delay to us and we will send you a P91 form which can only be filled in once post has been officially classed as being lost ie after 15 working days.
  3. Once more than 15 working days have elapsed since the item was posted to you and it has not arrived, then the Royal Mail will class it as ‘lost’. We will either send a replacement or give you a refund (limited to the value of the goods) but only on receipt of a completed P91 which must be within 10 days of the official ‘lost’ date. Please remember that these rules are set by the Royal Mail and we are unable to make any claim against them unless we follow this procedure.

Royal Mail can refuse a claim if:

  • The address on the package was incomplete.
  • More than 2 claims have been made at the same address over the past 12 months.
  • A P91 has not been completed by the customer.
  • The same complaint has been made directly by the customer.

If you have opted for a delivery by courier and your order has not arrived on the expected day then please contact our Customer Services Department on 0800 1977488, or email customer.services@tonerexpert.co.uk and we will chase your order. Please make sure that you have your contact details and order number ready, as we will need this information.

Tax Charges

All prices quoted on the website are exclusive of VAT.

Credit Card Security

Our on line shopping system is totally secure.

When you place an order all credit card numbers are encrypted in our specialist on line shopping software (SSL) using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted once they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Your details will be checked with fraud prevention agencies and if you have supplied us with false or inaccurate information your order will not be processed. If fraud is suspected the police may be informed.

Visa and MasterCard – along with your card issuer – have introduced enhanced payment protection for online payment transactions. 3D Secure is a new technical standard to further improve the security of payment transactions over the Internet. MasterCard brand their system as 'MasterCard SecureCode' and Visa call theirs 'Verified by Visa'.

Toner Expert is one of the leading companies that provide this additional security measure for the online consumer. The ability to fully authenticate cardholders, during an online purchase, reduces the likelihood of fraudulent usage of cards and improves overall transaction performance.

In order to use 3D Secure you must first register with your card issuer and choose your password for the service. This can be done by clicking on the links above, or by contacting your card issuer directly. However this only needs to be done ONCE. From that point on you can use any 3D Secure site with your registered card(s). The next time you make another purchase from our website you will simply need to enter your password, which is required to validate the 3D Secure system.

If you have already registered with the scheme, the only action you need take is to enter your password on the payment page to confirm your order. If you have forgotten your password simply click on the ‘forgotten password link’ displayed on the card issuer’s window after completing the netbanx payment page. Returns

If you wish to return an item, please contact our Customer Services team on 0800 1977488 or email customer.services@tonerexpert.co.uk and they will issue you with a returns form and number (valid for 14 days) which must be presented with the returned product/s. Please note that all original cartridges or toners which are deemed to be faulty must be returned in their original packaging together with a test print or we will not be able to replace or refund them.

If you receive a faulty, incorrect or damaged product and return it within 14 days of purchase you will be reimbursed for the cost of postage. However if you are outside of the 14 day return policy then you will be expected to pay for the cost of returning the goods. If you receive a damaged parcel you must sign for it as ‘damaged’ when receiving it from the courier and you must report it to us within 1working day of delivery. Otherwise it will be assumed that the damage was caused by the recipient and no replacement or refund will be given.

Your Right to Cancel

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 allows for a 7 day (7 working days from the day following the day in which you placed your order) cooling off period when you (the end user) have the right to cancel your order for a full refund.

If you wish to exercise your right to a full refund, then you must contact our customer services department on 0800 1977488 informing us of your intention to return the goods and ask for a returns form and number to be emailed to you. All goods must then be posted together with the returns form using "Recorded Delivery" to ensure their safe arrival. All postage costs are your (end user) responsibility. All returned goods must be unopened and in resalable condition. Once we have received the returned goods, we will refund your money within 30 days.

The only exceptions are for specially ordered items, which cannot be cancelled.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
